GLAZED UNITS
Plastic glazed unit is widely used in modern construction. They are much lighter and have better thermal insulation properties than traditional glass, which is important in the construction of a door lifted by an electric motor.
Plast-System units for sectional doors – lightweight and designed to meet your expectations.
For the production of glazed units, we use plastic sheets — PMMA (acrylic) and PC (polycarbonate) — available in a wide range of combinations, depending on the desired visual effect, scratch resistance, or preferred thermal transmittance.
Plastic glazed units are half as light as those made of glass and have a comparable light transmittance index. In addition, they provide high thermal insulation, which makes them ideal for use in FULL VISION industrial doors. They perfectly complement the minimalist architectural style of the buildings.

Long units
Manufacturers of modern industrial doors, aligned with current architectural trends, increasingly opt for long panel combinations, which can reach up to 5 meters in length. They are made from suitably durable sheets: PMMA 3.0 mm or PMMA SCRATCH FREE 3.0 mm. This solution is ideal for very wide garage doors, where the installation of a long panel not only enhances aesthetics and interior lighting but also provides visibility inside.

SafePin – spacer
SafePin is a minimalist spacer that prevents thin panels (2.0 mm or less) from sheets sticking together during door operation. This solution helps to maintain adequate panel spacing, which is particularly important for assemblies with a total thickness equal to or less than 20 mm or with an area greater than 0.55 m2.

Micro ventilation
Micro-ventilation used in the glazed units is a special vapor-permeable tape, which minimizes the effect of possible evaporation and deformation of panels in the unit. It is a solution used in combinations for special-purpose industrial and residential doors, designed for demanding environments such as car washes.

Aluminium profile with an internal mesh
Aluminium profile with a mesh is designed for plastic units or windows installed in areas particularly exposed to moisture. The use of a molecular mesh (a type of moisture-absorbing material) inside the aluminium profile reduces evaporation within the unit, helping to prevent fogged windows.

SCRATCH FREE
SCRATCH FREE (HC – hard coated) is a specialized protective coating featuring high resistance to scratches and chemicals. It is a solution recommended for use in doors that will be intensively used and exposed to a greater risk of mechanical damage. The SCRATCH FREE coating ensures long-lasting aesthetic quality of the glazing. It can be used in the following panel types: colourless PMMA (2.0 mm, 2.3 mm, 3.0 mm), satin PMMA (3.0 mm) and black PMMA (3.0 mm).
