When making production and technological decisions, we adhere to the principle of ‘think globally, act locally’. For Plast-System, sustainable development means taking real action to benefit the environment, our customers and the wider business community too.
Recycling and material recovery
During the manufacturing process of window frames, we recover plastics and process them in accordance with high-quality standards. We also collaborate with partners specialising in waste disposal and closed-loop recycling.
Environmentally friendly production
Our production lines are optimised in terms of energy, water and raw material consumption. Our efficient machine park, equipped with modern Krauss Maffei injection moulding machines – among others – allows us to reduce waste and minimize downtime.
Energy from the sun and our green surroundings
We have invested in photovoltaic panels and now use energy from renewable sources. Our headquarters is an energy-efficient building surrounded by green plants, which benefits both our employees and the environment.
In-house process and a shorter supply chain
Almost the entire production process takes place at the company’s headquarters. This gives us full control over quality and raw material consumption, while reducing our carbon footprint. We work with trusted European suppliers, which shortens the supply chain and supports the local economy.
Safety and social responsibility
Our production hall has been designed in accordance with the highest safety standards. First aid training is regularly reminded, and the factory is equipped with an AED defibrillator. We invest in team development and support social initiatives.
Eco-friendly products – reduced energy consumption
Plast-System windows and glazed units provide excellent thermal insulation, reducing energy consumption in buildings. We create durable, hard-wearing and virtually maintenance-free solutions that support green construction.
