The construction of quadruple units is similar to that of double and triple units, but the use of four sheets has an impact on both – the insulation properties and the overall weight of entire structure. This type of unit is recommended for door panels with a thickness of 80 mm or 100 mm.

Double-glazed units

Double-glazed units are the most common solution. The unit consists of two sheets separated by a spacer frame (aluminium profile), with an air-filled chamber between them. The sheets can be connected using aluminium profiles of standard widths – in silver, black and white. The entire assembly is additionally closed with a special sealing compound.
