PMMA
PMMA panel (acrylic) is a great alternative to glass, has a very high light transmittance rate – 92%, has no coloration, so it does not distort the colour of light. Its advantages over glass are: 10 times greater impact resistance, light weight (it is half lighter than glass), better thermal insulation properties and a very good level of sound insulation. PMMA panels are resistant to rain and moisture, as well as to temperature changes (high UV resistance).
